1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to MayaPlaza. By visiting, browsing, or making a purchase on this website (the "Site"), you acknowledge that you have carefully read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"), as well as our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Customer", "you") and MayaPlaza ("we", "us", "our", "Company").
If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue your use of the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any modification to these Terms will be treated as your consent to the revised Terms.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers who access or use the Site, regardless of whether they register an account or complete a purchase.
2. Eligibility
To use our Site and purchase products, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
- You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- You must not be barred from receiving products or services under the laws of India or any other applicable jurisdiction.
- You must provide truthful and accurate information when registering or placing an order.
If you are using the Site on behalf of a business, organization, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Account Registration & Security
To access certain features of the Site — including placing orders, tracking deliveries, and managing your wishlist — you will need to create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal information, including your full name, mobile number, email address, and delivery address.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials (username and password). You must not share your credentials with any third party.
- Be fully responsible for all activities, purchases, and actions that occur under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
- Immediately notify MayaPlaza at support@mayaplaza.in if you suspect any unauthorized access to, or use of, your account.
- Not create more than one account per person. Multiple accounts for the same individual may be merged or terminated.
MayaPlaza reserves the right to suspend, deactivate, or permanently terminate your account if we detect fraudulent activity, violation of these Terms, or any behavior that may harm the platform, other users, or third parties. In such cases, any pending orders may also be cancelled and refunded.
4. Orders & Payment
4.1 Placing Orders
When you add items to your cart and complete the checkout process, you are submitting an offer to purchase the selected products. An order is only considered confirmed once you receive an official Order Confirmation Email from MayaPlaza. Until then, MayaPlaza retains the right to reject or cancel any order.
4.2 Accepted Payment Methods
- UPI — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm UPI, BHIM, and other UPI-enabled apps
- Credit & Debit Cards — Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express
- Net Banking — All major Indian banks
- Cash on Delivery (COD) — Available for orders up to ₹50,000 in select pin codes
- Equated Monthly Installments (EMI) — Available via select bank cards for orders above ₹3,000
All payments are processed through Razorpay's secure payment gateway. MayaPlaza does not store any sensitive payment information such as card numbers or CVV codes on its servers.
4.3 Order Cancellation by MayaPlaza
We reserve the right to cancel your order under the following circumstances, with a full refund issued within 5–7 business days:
- Product is out of stock or discontinued after the order was placed
- A pricing or typographical error was discovered on the product listing
- Your delivery address falls outside our serviceable area
- Suspicion of fraud, fake orders, or violation of these Terms
- Payment failure or chargeback disputes
4.4 COD-Specific Terms
For Cash on Delivery orders, you are expected to have the exact amount ready at the time of delivery. Our delivery partners may be unable to provide change. For high-value COD orders (above ₹20,000), a refundable token advance may be required at the time of order placement. Repeated COD order cancellations or non-acceptance may result in your COD facility being restricted.
5. Pricing, GST & Promotions
All product prices displayed on the Site are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless explicitly stated otherwise. The applicable GST rate varies depending on the product category and will be itemized on your invoice.
- Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you confirm payment.
- Promotional discounts, coupon codes, and cashback offers are time-limited and can only be applied during their valid period. They cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
- Coupon codes are issued for one-time use per customer unless stated otherwise. Sharing or reselling coupon codes is prohibited.
- MayaPlaza shall not be liable for any pricing errors due to technical glitches or typographical mistakes. Any orders placed at incorrect prices will be cancelled and a full refund issued.
- Prices on MayaPlaza may differ from prices in physical stores or other online platforms due to exclusive online deals and platform-specific costs.
6. Shipping & Delivery
6.1 Delivery Coverage & Timeline
MayaPlaza ships products across India through our network of trusted logistics partners. Standard estimated delivery times are 3–7 business days from the date of order confirmation. Delivery to remote areas (Tier 3 cities, hilly regions, northeastern states) may take up to 10–14 business days.
6.2 Shipping Charges
- Free shipping is available on orders above ₹499 in most serviceable pin codes.
- A nominal shipping fee (₹49–₹99) may apply for orders below ₹499 or deliveries to certain remote locations.
- Large, heavy, or bulky items (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines, large TVs) may attract an additional handling or installation charge, which will be disclosed at checkout.
6.3 Delays & Force Majeure
Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. MayaPlaza shall not be held liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather conditions, strikes, government actions, pandemics, port disruptions, or courier network issues. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and provide an updated delivery estimate.
6.4 Delivery Responsibility
- Upon delivery, please inspect the package for any visible signs of tampering, damage, or missing items before signing the delivery acknowledgment.
- If the package appears tampered or damaged, refuse the delivery and immediately contact us at support@mayaplaza.in with photographic evidence.
- Risk of loss and legal ownership of the product transfers to you upon successful delivery to the address you provided at checkout.
- If delivery fails due to an incorrect address or repeated non-availability at the delivery location, the package may be returned to our warehouse. Re-delivery charges may apply.
7. Returns, Replacements & Refunds
7.1 Return Eligibility
We offer a 7-day return window from the date of delivery for most products, provided one of the following conditions applies:
- The product is defective or not functioning as described
- The product was damaged during transit
- You received a wrong or incomplete item
- The product does not match the description or specifications listed on the Site

7.2 Return Conditions
- The product must be returned in its original packaging with all accessories, warranty cards, manuals, and the original invoice.
- The product must be unused and in its original sealed condition (for items claimed as defective, prior use is understood).
- Items with physical damage caused by the customer, missing parts, or tampered serial numbers will not be accepted for return.
7.3 Non-Returnable Items
The following categories are not eligible for return or exchange unless received in a defective or damaged condition:
- Opened or used software, digital codes, or licenses
- Personal hygiene products (e.g., electric trimmers, earbuds, personal care devices)
- Items specifically marked "Non-Returnable" on the product page
- Products damaged due to customer misuse, improper installation, or voltage fluctuation
- Consumable items such as printer cartridges or batteries (once opened)
7.4 Refund Timeline
- Once the returned item is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.
- Online payment refunds (card, UPI, net banking) are credited back to the original payment source within 3–5 banking days after processing.
- COD refunds are transferred via NEFT/IMPS to the bank account you provide during the return process.
Replacement Policy: For defective or wrong products, you may opt for a direct replacement instead of a refund. Replacement is subject to stock availability. If the product is out of stock, a full refund will be issued.
8. Product Descriptions & Accuracy
MayaPlaza makes every effort to ensure that product titles, descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing are accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that such information is error-free, complete, or current at all times. Specifically:
- Product colors, textures, and dimensions may appear slightly different on screen due to monitor calibration and display settings.
- Technical specifications (RAM, storage, resolution, wattage, etc.) are sourced from the manufacturer and may be updated by them without notice. Always verify specifications on the manufacturer's official website before purchase.
- Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Accessories shown in lifestyle images may not be included in the box unless explicitly stated in the product listing.
- In the event of a significant mismatch between the listed and delivered product, you are entitled to a return or replacement under Clause 7.
9. Warranty & After-Sales Service
Most products sold on MayaPlaza are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The warranty terms, duration, and conditions vary by brand and product category and are governed by the respective manufacturer's warranty policy, not by MayaPlaza.
- Warranty claims must typically be raised directly with the manufacturer's authorized service center. MayaPlaza may facilitate this process upon request.
- Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover physical damage, water damage, unauthorized modifications, or misuse.
- For products offering installation services (ACs, washing machines, large TVs), installation will be scheduled separately and may take 24–48 hours post-delivery. Installation by an unauthorized person may void the manufacturer's warranty.
- MayaPlaza does not provide any independent warranty beyond what the manufacturer offers, unless an extended warranty plan is explicitly purchased at checkout.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
All content available on the MayaPlaza website — including but not limited to the brand name, logo, trade dress, website design, graphics, photographs, written content, product descriptions, software code, and user interface elements — is the exclusive intellectual property of MayaPlaza or its licensors, and is protected under:
- The Copyright Act, 1957 (India)
- The Trade Marks Act, 1999 (India)
- The Information Technology Act, 2000 (India)
- Applicable international intellectual property conventions
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes only. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, public display, modification, or commercial exploitation of any content from this Site is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
11. Prohibited Conduct
When using the Site, you agree NOT to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, server, or database
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent orders or information
- Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated systems to access or extract data from the Site without our written consent
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or organization
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software or technology underlying the Site
- Post, transmit, or distribute any offensive, defamatory, or harmful content via any review or feedback feature
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Site or any connected infrastructure
MayaPlaza reserves the right to take appropriate legal and technical action against any user who violates these prohibitions, including termination of account, reporting to authorities, and seeking damages.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, MayaPlaza, its directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and technology partners shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from use of or inability to use the Site or products purchased
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data by third parties
- Any third-party conduct on or linked from the Site
In all cases, MayaPlaza's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the specific order giving rise to that claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain liabilities. In such cases, the above exclusions will apply to the maximum extent permitted by law in your jurisdiction.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Step 1 — Amicable Resolution
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or any product purchased, you agree to first attempt to resolve it amicably by contacting our customer support at support@mayaplaza.in. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve your concern within 15 business days.
Step 2 — Jurisdiction
If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days, both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Guruvayoor, Kerala, India for the resolution of such dispute. You waive any objection to venue or jurisdiction in those courts.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MayaPlaza and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of the Site or any product purchased
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights
- Any false or misleading information provided by you
15. Changes to These Terms
MayaPlaza reserves the right to amend, update, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time at our sole discretion. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- For significant changes, send a notification to your registered email address
- Display a banner or notice on the Site for a reasonable period following the change
Your continued use of the Site after any changes are posted constitutes your binding acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Site immediately.
